What ministries will I be involved in?
Master's Commission Canada is based out of Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly, a church that is reaching out to the community in every aspect of the world. Each student will have the opportunity to be part of these ministries, as well as take leading roles in developing and participating in cutting edge outreach and evangelism tools of Master's Commission.

[Worship]

Master's Commission is committed to rising up and investing into worshipers. Whether your involvement is singing in the congregation during Master's led services, passionately praising God in our MCC choir, or joining the worship team, be prepared to be challenged and stretched to go to new places through worship!

[Adopt-a-Block]

This ministry of our home church, led by Pastor Barry Kendall, is literally changing entire neighbourhoods. By visiting weekly and helping the people of the community, lives are being transformed through the power of servanthood love. Each student will have the opportunity to minister the way Jesus did by participating in this hands on ministry.

[Youth]

You will have direct involvement in several facets of youth ministry, including the chance to work one-on-one with youth at The Viz. The Viz meets every Friday night and is revolutionizing the way youth ministry is done. We also travel heavily to youth groups throughout Canada and the U.S. to minister at youth services, rallies, conferences, and conventions. Another focus of our involvement is Jr. Masters Commission, a discipleship program for the youth of WPA.

[Children]

Each student will receive valuable training and experience working with children through exposure to our children's ministry, which touches the lives of over 500 kids weekly. Avenues of this ministry include: puppetry, games, illustrated sermons, children's outreach, and building life-changing relationships with kids of all ages. We also travel to many churches to minister at children's services throughout North America.

[Evangelism]

Just 45 minutes outside of Toronto, the Waterloo region has a population of over ½ million people and is one of the top tech-towns in all of North America. With three major universities within walking distance of the church, that represent over 80 different countries, Master's Commission Canada is positioned to touch the world. We will also travel the world over and take to the streets in scheduled outreaches and learn what it is to make disciples of all nations!

[Missions]

Each year, students have the chance to leave Canada and minister in a foreign country. (Any trip taken outside Canada or US will be optional and require extra funds provided by the student)

[Schools]

You will have the opportunity to travel with our "Ignite" school assembly team, bringing hope and light to a generation that has been immersed in depression and darkness. Another exciting outlet to this ministry is the chance to work with local schools, daily pouring and investing into the lives of junior high and high school students.

[Church Services]

Students will have the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Canada and the U.S. ministering to churches through preaching, worship, prayer, and altar time.

[Drama & Multi-Media]

Master's Commission is committed to using whatever tools necessary to effectively communicate the gospel to a generation that is moved by media. Through television, movies, video, music, radio, drama, human video, and written material, learn how to take advantage of the resources God has given us to build His Kingdom.
